In the middle of the Karystos Gulf.

In the eastern part of the gulf and about 1km from the shore. The head of the reef begins at a depth of 16m and ends at a depth of about 25m. The Mantalia Reef is flat like a platform. Dives with training of Open Water Divers and up can dive in this dive site.

In the southwestern abstention of the reef, in the sand, a large colony of purple spirographis begins, a unique spectacle when someone approaches close to the sand and look northeast. Almost permanent residents of the reef are goldblotch groupers, saddled seabreams and sargos.

Easily accessible by boat and relatively protected by strong northern winds. Sometimes currents are generated that must be taken into consideration in planning the dive.
